Aircraft Traffic Patterns – Standard Flight Patterns are to be flown at 800 feet agl at Buckingham Airport.
Unicom Frequency CTAF – All airplanes and helicopters operating at FL59 are expected to use 122.9 to announce their intentions.
Touch and Go(s) – Limited flight training is permitted at Buckingham Airport but should be limited to five touch and go(s) per training session. Pilots are encouraged to avoid this type of training at FL59 when possible or conduct such training at the larger airports.
LCMCD Helicopter Operations
Effective June 1st, 2016 through September 15th, 2016 expect heavy helicopter traffic leaving the LCMCD ramp going West bound from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and returning to LCMCD ramp between 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
RUNWAY CLOSURE 14/32
LCMD is extending a taxiway at both ends of Runway 14/32. Construction is scheduled to begin on August 23rd, 2016 at 6:00 a.m. with a completion date of September 16th, 2016. The main runway (14/32) will be opened for night trafficduring this time period. Daylight operations will be permitted on Runway 6/24. Please announce all intentions (including taxing movements) on 122.9.
Aircraft taxing through the ramp area of LCMCD to Runway 6/24 use caution as the ramp is active with helicopter traffic. 122.9 will be monitored by LCMCD with the call sign of Buckingham UNICOM.
